HEDON London Regional Interest Group - metup 27 Aug 09

The HEDON London Regional Interest Group will hold its monthly get-together on Thursday the 27th of August.

Topic: "Energy solutions for emergency relief interventions" by Sarah Kent from RESET

The main focus of this talk will be household energy and why it is important to provide local training in site on appropriate renewable technologies such as solar, wind, hydro, low fuel stoves and biogas in order to reduce dependency on diesel, kerosene and other imported fuels bearing a high financial and environmental price tag.
As always we will have discussions and networking in a relaxed atmosphere. Please note that food is not available at the pub but we can bring some from outside (Lebanese restaurant just in front of the pub).
