Long time back I had a dream and an idea to have global individual partners for a global NGO/ foundation which would be run through a portal. I wanted to send this out here to see if anyone would be interested and wanting to partner.
The portal would be something that would allow anyone to post projects and look for funds while others to give funds etc. The portal would also allow all aspects of social networkign so like minded people can discuss ideas and make connections.
Further, the portal would allow people to share good practices , upload reports and presentation, have e training subscriptions on many issues etc.
the cost of the portal would be about $5000 - $ 7000 so even if there are 50- 70 of us with $100 only, we can make it work. The foundation can be registered anywhere where convenient so that all partners are given equal say. Something like the United Nations but without the Governmental bureaucracy.

I think this is a great idea and would like to talk more about this re partnering. Would such a site more or less run itself or do you see considerable time allocation to manage the site. I look forward to your response.

Hi Mariama,
The site will of course need to be nurtured always but for the most part should be run on its own once there is enough traffic and projects and interests from the demand and supply.
It has to be a self regulating site with minimal interference from the adinistrator.
