WARP is a business initiative to fight poverty in South Africa and Africa through social development and skill training but also being sustainable in the future to grow resources through an extensive business network. The idea came to me when trying to raise fund for a local organization. And the thought came to me that why should we struggle to raise funds if we can build a company to create funds.

What we need is to get funding to get the business off the ground. I see it like this

Using South Africa as my example:

People being employed. Create funds for government->government can invest in infrastructure, more employment is created the government makes more money and the circle starts over again. And the countries get better people live better. Ex BUT WHAT IS CURRENTLY HAPPENING NOW. People get fired, government loses money, less infrastructure can be build, existing infrastructure fails, more people get fired because a lack of infrastructure. Government gets poorer.

Now our model can turn this around if only we can get help from someone or institution government should have been looking at this but they IGNOR ME! They talk about fighting poverty and when you come up with something they Ignore you how are we supposed to build a better future for us if the poepol in charge can not see potential in something so simple in construction it must be pure genius

Benn,

I like your presentation, it sound very realistic to have taxes re invested by government to creat more funds that can cater for the needs of a country. This situations are not normally met by most governments due to the fact that, NO ONE CLOSELY FOLLOWS THEM.

For Uganda, it is not far from your experience however the government is trying to create more jobs through more subcounties to creat more jobs, however sustaining this sub counties is becoming a problem.

Also the big job are selected for a few from the current rulling structure an audit of staffs conducded is influenced.

Development is regionally looked and segregated.

Thanks and I hope this forum will play a davocy for the in this situations for developing countries where people also have avoice on what is affecting them freely.

Mike
