The Utilization of trained community residents as outreach health advisors "promotoras"
"Healthy Families Make Healthy Communities/Healthy Communities are Good for Business"
I have designed a community based health initiative that creates a for profit business within local communities, and employs trained residents as outreach community health advisors. The local business can be a healthy meals kitchen that also serves as a resource center and classroom for nutrition and health classes. Local business stakeholders will be asked to become directly involved in this initiative by joining a business membership, that will support and encourage healthy lifestyle behaviors for individuals and families (family focused). We can bring this program to any community in the world where nutrition, and or behavioral health issues have caused community health concerns.
You will have to provide funding for this initiative.
