When working with companies in Latin America, ZGD faced a real challenge to educate clients about the MDGs and their role as private sector representatives before this theme. Some innovative solutions had to be found in order to engage businessmen to the cause. For instance, we developed a "mdgs for dummies" video to illustrate what we were talking about. We usually get caught up in our jargons, that we actually must stop and review strategies - well, every attempt is valid, right?

"We will have time to reach the Millennium Development Goals –
Worldwide and in most, or even all, individual countries – but
only if we break with business as usual.

We cannot win overnight. Success will require sustained action
across the entire decade between now and the deadline. It takes
time to train the teachers, nurses and engineers; to build the
roads schools and hospitals; to grow the small and large
businesses able to create the jobs and income needed.
So we must start now. And we must more than double global
development assistance over the next few years. Nothing less
will help to achieve the Goals.

I am half way through reading this report and I absolutely scared by the fact that we are now where near meeting the MDGS. I am on the other hand encouraged by the good practice and examples of success stories thus far
