THE INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS FORUM IS A PLATFORM FOR BUSINESSES AND DEVELOPMENT PROFESSIONALS TO DISCUSS AND ADVANCE THE ROLE OF BUSINESS IN ACCELERATING THE MILLENNIUM DEVELOPMENT GOALS.

Since 2005, InWEnt and the World Bank Institute have partnered on a series of high profile events, and this year's, to take place from 4 to 6 November in Ghana, will focus on the impacts of and responses to the economic, financial and climate crises. As a lead up to this, InWEnt and the World Bank Institute will be running a 3-week eConference here from 5 to 23 October 2009. Participation in this eConference will be of benefit to those attending the Ghana event, as well as to those unable to go to Ghana.

The eConference, moderated by leading experts, will draw on a series of videoconference dialogues being convened by the World Bank Institute, as well as the 2009 Report from Business Action for Africa.
