Source of my passion about the power of business to fight poverty
I am an entrepreneur, I work for a company, I work for government
Industry:
Youth development
About my work:
The youth in any country is seen as the potential leaders of the country later on in future. For a country to succeed, it has to take into consideration the growth of it youth in terms of education, technology and so on. In Africa, the reverse is the case in which the youth have now become what I call non-entity. They are now use as hoodlums to cause problem just like the case of Liberia that suffer civil war for almost 14 years. Same is happening in country like Congo DR, Kenya, Sudan, Nigeria (Niger-delta crisis). If the youth of the said countries has been properly motivated, they would have been more using than what they have now turned too. Akinsworld foundation is working towards helping this youth to be useful by creating centres where they can learn and also discover the talents in which by doing this, new ideas and innovation can be discovered which can benefit their country and the world at large. African has huge natural resources and large numbers of human capital. If they are been properly guided and utilize will bring about a great result. African should not be seen as a dumping down but where good things can also come from. Soonest, Africa will start produce and not assembling car. Cars that can use both petrol, gas and solar and source of power generation. African youth are coming up.
