HI. Sorry it took me so long to respond. I dont get on here as often as I should. Maybe that should be my new years resolution. Nigerian, you dont look Nigerian. *smile* So am I. What type of business do you run. Mine is micro credit. Its a grass roots, just got started doing it this year.
Apologies for not getting back to you earlier re: your message on ecademy. I was hoping to speak with the Madagascar ambassador on your behalf to see if she can introduce you to the ASACHA ladies but discovored she in in Madagascar until Mid Sept. The best thing to do is contact one of the High Commissioners and they should be able to connect you. Sadly I don't know anyone else in that group
What sort of businesses would you be interested to look into. I have one coming up strongly on HIV test kits for the government others if you give me specs I would be happy to oblidge
Hi:) Thanks for your interest. I want to start a small business that offers micro-credit, educational and practical workshops, low-cost seeds and fertilisers, and a livestock bank. Obviously it is going to be more focused on community development than profit but there will be some profit ( I hope). I was thinking of basing it in Tanzania, but this could change. The biggest challenge I am facing at the moment is figuring out how much capital I need, oddly enough you can't google the cost of a goat in Tanzania.
Hello Akpesiri. Thanks for the invitation and hope to benefit from this network as I stand to transfer the knowledge I get form this to the less priviledged and the vulnerable that I work with in my line of work as a Social Development practitioner. I am currently winding up my work in Zambia and will be going back to Zimbabwe and hope to continue with work in the NGO or International Donor communities as that is my experience.
