thanks for your interest David!!
I am working to promote for this model to be world-wide-initiative. I am not sure where it will grow and who will hold the first structure as it till now an individual concept draft .. may be under http://www.globalvillages.info/index.php which is becoming http://globalvillages.org/
when I have the time we will discuss about the topic in the forum here.
It is important to crowd as much people as possible around this open-source holistic free participative economic concept ..
I hope today I will be able to start a thread .
keep the good work and the hope for better future for all ~

Hi David, your project sounds interesting. Teaching basic business skills to the youth would be a good way to lift them out of poverty. That's what this site and network are about! Best of luck. Michael

David, have you heard of Ecobank, the pan African bank. They do have a Microfinance programme and it might be worth meeting their MD in Kenya.

I am seeking a partner to help me with the technical know how of building and establishing a sustainable Microfinance Institution for the youth group in which I serve.
Currently, our membership stands at 1,944 on Facebook. We have greatly used the Facebook Social Networking site to undertake more than 10 Successful Events in the last 9 Months. In most of this cases we relied on Individual Sacrifices and Corporate Sponsorships. We seek to start a Microfinance Institution
