Drew Chafetz is CEO and Co-founder of love.fútbol, a social venture that develops safe, simple soccer fields in impoverished communities worldwide. Born and raised in Washington, DC, Drew had a soccer ball at his feet since before he can remember. Drew spent many of his formative years traversing the globe with his family. By the age of twelve he explored six continents and spoke the language of soccer at many stops along the way. The game was his bond with youth of the world, his strongest language and most freeing means of self-expression. These experiences cultivated a fundamental understanding, appreciation and respect for the power of soccer.
Drew attended Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA and the University of Colorado at Boulder, from where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a BA in Economics and Business. On the soccer field at Dickinson, he met good friend and teammate Alfredo Axtmayer, together they co-founded love.fútbol in May, 2006.

Hi Drew! It was great to see you at the SoCap conference. Sometime we should talk about getting a story about LoveFutbol working with the soccer companies/associations.
