Hi Galena
Sorry for the delay in contacting you, I have been waiting for some balance to return to the market, lots of projects have calculated a shortfall in income and are competing for funds they dont stand a chance of getting.
Is yours and impossible dream, not at all, but investigating the structure of banks and lending in Eygpt has made me aware that there may need to be some breaks in in the links to funds because it is unlikely that every $ will be accounted for if you use the conventional system. One of the options is to look at the core supplies for the motor trade and have them shipped in but paid for elsewhere, using the residual local structures to hold funds to pay but the external structure to handle the investment income. This is complex because of the legal issues of moving money across borders. I am still waiting for a response from a colleague who thinks it is possible but wanted to check the legal framework (Islamic law comes into it somewhere). His advice is free and then he may offer some investor suggestions.
So don't give up hope the markets have created international panic and we need to see how they settle.
Recieved and acting on it as we speak I thought i had replied but obviously I didn't.
There are some issues about guarantees on loans and grants that appear to be an issue so I am checking into alternative sources of sustainable funding as it would appear that honesty in business isn't a priority; I will get back to you very soon
