Hi Girma
Can you provide me more information about what you are thinking about? I am interested in rural electrification enterprises.
Please provide details on what you are looking for (e.g. technical assistance, business support, etc). This way I better know how to assist you.
My father has been doing research on teaching rural farmers in arid lands how to increase sorghum yields. I don't know if any of this is applicable to you but here's the link just in case http://www.freewebs.com/greenkenya/researchanddevelopment.htm
His research center is Centre for Science and Technology Innovations (Nairobi, Kenya) http://www.csti.or.ke
I have not done any research on sweet sorghum as a biofuel feedstock (my focus has been on jatropha and moringa). However I am always happy to learn if you have info that can be shared.
Thank you so much for your message regarding your interest in a bioenergy village based upon sweet sorghum. Sweet sorghum is my feedstock of choice! We are the at the moment developing a biofuels conference in Addis for June, which I'm sure would be a great opportunity for you to meet colleagues interested in developing such a scheme. As we move forward in developing the conference, I will be certain to keep you informed.
