ICT for Development, Marketing, Consumer Research, the BOP, Journalism
About my work:
BOP Source is the first social network for the base of the pyramid, connecting low-income consumers and entrepreneurs to the companies that want to hire them and design products and services for them. We have partnered with Telecenters in Nepal and local, rural users are using the internet and our social network. We are looking for companies, designers, and marketers to engage with the site. Please message me if interested in designing products for the base of the pyramid market.
I am a graduate of Harvard and UC Berkeley and write for NextBillion.net
Interested in:
Professional Contacts, Potential Partners, Sharing resources
I am a writer for NextBillion.net and would love to hear from the Business Fights Poverty community about what members are thinking and doing regarding social entrepreneurship and the new Administration.

I published a piece on NextBillion.net about the connection between Obama, social entrepreneurs, and business at the base of the pyramid. Hope you enjoy.
Hello Jenera
i'm very interested to read of your work and would love to know more.
Currently, i'm not able to offer you any help but feel sure that in the future there will be ways in which we can work together.
I have co-founded a global women's organisation which is set up to bring together women from diverse backgrounds and cultures, particularly small regional women's groups worldwide. The internet is crucial to our work - and we are also developing a global online resource centre for women.
We work from a virtual HQ.
I'm not sure right now if/how we can help each other but may be in the future, so i thought I'd let you know about us!
And also a great excuse to say hi.
Blessings
Chris
