I am sorry you can't attend. I will attend the conference as it is conveniently close by my place. As a matter of fact I have submitted a paper which has been accepted. It will be an opportunity for me to see what is going on in this field as I am interested for my next step in my life in terms of research and profession ;-)
I have indeed contacted TU Delft folks like Prabhu Kandachar and met Ilona de Jongh recently. I got valuable advice from them too. They are going to organize a BOP conference in november 2009.
What's your experience with people centred innovation in ICT with the base of the pyramid?
I am writing a master thesis about multinational IT/ICT companies involved with the BOP in Africa and am interested in experiences and literature related to design and innovation of ICT products and services for the BOP people.
