I am Managing Director of a Brussels-based firm, HG Consulting, that focuses on sustainable development of African biofuels projects in Africa. We work with a network of experts throughout Europe and Africa to advise on and develop projects that benefit both the local community and increase opportunities for value-added exports.
Complimentary to those activities, on the behest of some ACP countries active in biofuels, we have created PANGEA (Partners for Euro-African Green Energy), a Brussels-based NGO. PANGEA works to link together North and South on Green Energy issues, especially biofuels and electricity co-generation, through advice, lobbying and policy analysis.

Hi Meghan,
I wanted to enrol for the conference in Lille, but I couldn't, because the Strategico website is offline. Do you have a mail address of Lydie Boka?
Thank you, if you can give a hint or help somehow!

I'm still learning how to use all the gizmos here. In your friend request there was a message about PANEGA and something about Addis. It dissappeared when I accepted the friend request and I can't find it. Can you resend?
Cheers,
Cecilia

Jatropha is interesting to us. I'm aware of projects in Mali, but as yet we're still in the research and planning stage. We have a number of programs in West Africa that need sustainable revenue systems. I'd love to converse with those involved in Jatropha to hear what their outcomes, actual cost and the nature of the program difficulties. Regards.
Hi Meghan. Are you engaged in Jatropha based biofuels? If so, who are you engaged with in the field, and in which countries in Africa? If not, what kinds of fuels are you focusing on? I know several people I'd like to put you in touch with if it is of interest.
