- About my work:
- Having been involved in the work leading up to the commission for Africa's report "Our Common Interest", I realised that it was business that was going to deliver long term sustainable development. And not by philanthropy, but by engaging the interests of their shareholders with helping improve social and economic fairness. And that means core business.
I am a director of Tedcor International, a company that delivers five of the MDGs as part of its core business. We do this through a programme of solid waste collection in the poorest peri-urban communities in Africa. Have a look at www.tedcor.co.za
I am also a director of Inspiris Ltd, a company advising businesses, governments and NGOs how they can deliver real results to make the world a better place by working together.

Thanks for the invite to join BFP and for the opportunity to meet two weeks ago. I look forward to engaging in this initiative and network, and hopefully we can start to see collaboration on projects in the South African fruit industry coming about.
