- As Communications Director for CDC, the UK's Development Finance Institution, I see at first hand the importance of responsible risk capital for businesses in poor countries. CDC has a 60 year history of making that happen.
I orginially trained as a lawyer in the UK but have spent the last 25 years in corporate communications, first in international agencies (Hill and Knowlton, Burson-Marsteller) then in-house at the BBC and the wellcome Trust.
