About my work:

CEO of CDC Group plc, the UK government owned development finance institution, which invests its $5 billion balance sheet in private sector businesses in the poorest countries of the world, via private equity and other funds.

CDC's mission is to generate wealth, broadly shared, in emerging markets, particularly in poorer countries, by providing capital for investment in sustainable and responsibly managed private sector businesses.

Prior to CDC I worked at De La Rue plc as CFO, in agribusiness in developing countries, at PWC and at Marks and Spencers.
