I feel passionately that business can make a major contribution to fighting poverty and I believe the day will come when it will be the norm not the exception for companies to consider the impact of their core business -their people, products and processes -on international development. May that day be soon!

Work

I was a Marketeer at GlaxoSmithKline for eight years. More recently I co-founded INSPIRIS (www.inspiris.co.uk), where I now lead the company's work on marketing fair trade products. I also led the development of Mentori (www.mentori.org) the initiative that helps SME's in developing countries grow. Mentori supports a network of business professionals who volunteer from their desks and support SMEs online.
