What is your signature innovation, your new idea, in one sentence?
EqualCraft.com is an artist-centric marketplace that provides a personalized shopping experience with investment opportunities contributing to the artists in the bottom of the social pyramid.
Describe what makes your idea unique—different from all others in the field.
EqualCraft.com creates a profitable platform for artists and investors, and a personalized shopping experience for customers. We achieve this through the operation of the following two programs: Earning with EqualCraft: By harnessing the powers of eCommerce, EqualCraft opens a global marketplace for artisans to showcase and sell their artwork through an efficient direct-to-consumer supply chain. The marketplace offers a powerful go-to-market opportunity for the numerous grassroot artist organizations operating in local pockets. We partner with such organizations to create portfolios that primarily focus on artisans. We create a personalized shopping experience by enabling a direct consumer-artisan interaction. Every customer knows the history and the person behind the creation for the product. Investing with EqualCraft: EqualCraft is piloting a profitable model for reproducible success in incubating small artisan organizations in poor communities worldwide. We provide market data (based on online operations) on artisan-groups to encourage investments by private investors. By creating such a transparency, we align the financial growth of private investors with the health of locally organized artisans.
