Try as we may to be the difference until governments accept that current policies and activities are really not geared to the needs of those least able to represent their needs then we are doomed to see more exploitation, corruption and strategic tomfoolery.
What narks me most is that we should have known that the rhetoric really was just too good to be true, politicians the world over haven't got a clue, and what a mess they are creating. Every step forward is a revelation on just how little international planning and accord there really is so do something different ignore the politicians. One day they may get the message, helping people is far more important than popularity and political ideaology, save real lives not political careers. Don't start wars use the money to feed people, how long would the money for one cruise missile feed a family, town possibly even small region.
Get to the real point man dominates man to his own advantage, power, money and secular progression.
It is time for real change, local enterprises, linked by direct trade not the sham of FairTrade (better understood as Fare Trade) lets get to grips with the markets and banks who trade money that doesn't exist and keep countries in debt. It is interesting that the banks owe millions/billions and their debts are bought by governments but countries in poverty can't get help without strings attached, why bail out car manufacturuers when they are poisening the earth and killing millions every year, every country has speed restrictions but the manufacturuers build faster and faster cars that kill and maim people everyday.
Hypocrasy is the name of the modern
