Business Fights Poverty

Kristina

How do we create good businesses in Africa? Inspire young entrepreneurs.

Africa's youth are the ones who will create the business that have strong civic ties. These youth entrepreneurs will not only create businesses which will fund projects aimed at eliminating poverty, they will create businesses that attack the challenge of poverty directly.

Organizations like Top30Under30 are bringing African entrepreneurs to the fore and helping them connect with valuable business networks across the continent and beyond. Another great way of getting youth excited about entrepreneurship is through Global Entrepreneurship Week. The Week is already poised to happen in many countries in African but there are so many more that can become involved!

Global Entrepreneurship Week is a celebration of innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity. The Week will bring together millions of young people across the globe through online and local activities and encourage them to think innovatively and unleash their ideas. Through a coordinated effort with many different countries, during one week every year, the world will celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit in hopes of inspiring a new generation of young entrepreneurs.

Canary Islands are a natural, technological & cultural platform between 3 continents... So it's about North-South & South-South relationships, it's about inspiring young entrepreneurs, it's about building new collaborations, it's about exporting Canarian green technology & know how to Africa as a Fair Trade Business, it's about reorganizing west African & Canarian tourism with networking new possibilities... Please feel free to join the reflexion. Kind regards.
