This event is aimed at lawyers and their corporate clients interested in working in evolving economies. The event will open with a briefing by DFID on how it seeks to engage with the private sector to bring about poverty alleviation and support international development through economic growth.
The event will bring together, Mavis Owusu-Gyamfi, Head of Profession, Private Sector Development, DFID, Angus Kirk, Crown Agents Legal, Jeremy Connick, Partner, Clifford Chance, Joss Saunders, Head of Legal, Oxfam to discuss their views on DFID's Private Sector Development strategy, its implications and likely success in engaging with the private sector to promote international development.
